Willoughby Woods is our backyard. We tap our maple trees every year and document the process with photos. We are definitely old-school, we haven't tried tubing or vacuum pumps or any of those newfangled things. Taps and buckets. And lots of propane. We don't sell our syrup as we don't make enough. We keep a couple of bottles for ourselves and give the rest away.
Willoughby Woods syrup has been enjoyed in: Arizona, Salt Lake City, London (the one in England), Raleigh North Carolina, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Georgia (the one near Alabama, not Russia) and Russia (the one next to Latvia).
This site provides us a place to publish these photos and describe the work that goes into our maple syrup.
